- Earned the decisive victory in Washington’s Pac-12 opener on the road at Oregon, ranked 52nd.
- He came back from a set to beat Oregon’s 81st-ranked Joshua Charlton, winning the last five straight to take the win (4-6, 6-4, 6-2).
- Also picked up the doubles point partnered with teammate Nedim Suko as the pair came from 2-5 down to win a tiebreaker with the doubles point on the line (7-6(5)).

FEMALE TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Sarah-Maude Fortin, So., WASHINGTON (Montreal, Canada)
- Helped lead the Huskies to their first desert road trip sweep since 2004 and a 2-0 start to the Pac-12 game.
- The Huskies upset 17th-ranked Arizona State on Friday, which ended up Fortin’s game in a 3-3 tie she went through with the last two games for a 6-3, 5 win. -7, 6-4.
- The following day, Fortin again played a key role in a 4-3 victory for the Huskies over Arizona, as her three-set victory over Kayla Wilkins put the Huskies ahead, 3-2, in the match.
