Brunet Espuela hails from Barcelona, ​​Spain and he first discovered the sport while visiting Italy, which is home to some of the best players in the sport.

“I’m just in love with it and couldn’t stop playing,” he said. “I said to my wife when we were going back to America, I said ‘OK, I have to bring this sport, I want to play.'”

This is how he founded the Cleveland Beach Tennis Club.

“People I know here love beach volleyball,” he said. “Because of this hybrid, I thought people would like it.”
