The Laver Cup will visit Vancouver and Berlin in 2023 and 2024

Vancouver afrom Berlin will host the 2023 and 2024 editions of Cup of the tankThe men’s international indoor hard-court team tennis tournament that pits Team Europe against Team World, organizers announced on Wednesday.

The sixth edition of golf’s Ryder Cup-like tournament will be held September 22-24, 2023, at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, while the 2024 edition will be held September 20-22 at Mercedez-Benz Arena in Berlin.

The three-day Laver Cup competition will pit six of Team Europe’s top players, led by tennis legend Bjorn Borg, against six top-tier Team World players, led by Borg’s professional rival John McEnroe.

Played on a black covered court, the Laver Cup debuted in Prague in 2017 and has since rotated destinations between Europe and the world, hosted in Chicago in 2018, Geneva in 2019, Boston in 2021 and in 2022, at the O2 in London from September 23 -25.

Full squad rosters have not been announced for London, but Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are expected to feature for the European squad, while Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, American Taylor Fritz and the Argentina’s Diego Schwartzman have been named for the World Team.
