Members of the “You matter” initiative visit sports facilities


The Stadium Security Department of the Department of Facilities and Authorities of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoI) recently visited the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex as part of the ‘You Matter’ initiative.

The Ministry of Interior tweeted that the visit was launched in cooperation and coordination with the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF) and that students from the Ibn Khaldoun Preparatory School for Boys participated. .
The visit took place on the sidelines of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open, which was held from February 14 to 19 and included an introductory tour of sports facilities, external assembly points and the inspection mechanism, as well as procedures safety and security when participating in sporting events.
As part of the initiative, a friendly match was held at Al-Sadd Sports Club while bringing together Al-Arabi Club and Al-Rayyan Club on February 19 ahead of a Qatar Stars League game.
The meeting discussed the fundamentals of exemplary encouragement, sportsmanship, avoidance of fanaticism and cooperation with security men and organizers for the success of public programs.
The “You Are Important” team then took part in educating and guiding the masses during the match at the Al Sadd Sports Club stadium.
