During his recent episode of the Let’s go! podcast, host Jim Gray directed the conversation to Bengals HC Zac Taylor. He mentioned some of his faulty plays and how, towards the end of the game, Taylor failed to use his first RB Joe Mixon to head the ball. Tom Brady had a simple answer.

“Sometimes a coach makes a decision and a player tries to do the right thing,” Brady said. ” It’s not going well. It’s a team sport. So it’s always easy to guess as things go, especially when there are so many variables to winning matches.

He went on to say that Zac had a great season, and at times he might have wished he had approached things better, the same goes for Joe Burrow and also the winning team. Brady describes that’s the beauty of a team sport. If one player plays badly, the other covers him and vice versa.

“It’s not golf, it’s not tennis. It takes a lot to win and lose. And it’s such a team sport. Brady added. The 44-year-old made such a valid point that he described the sport with his fine notions of team spirit.
