Amanda Anisimova talked about making friends on tour

In this interview, Amanda talked about the difficulties of making a friend on the Tour. According to her, if it was a team sport, she would make a lot of friends. However, this is not the case in tennis as she thinks it is difficult to connect with anyone as they have to do everything on their own.

“I think it’s difficult because it’s not like a team sport. I think if it was a team sport it would be so much easier. At least if there are a few tournaments in the year where we like to play as a team, because we do everything by ourselves, it is more difficult for us to connect ” said Amanda.

Amanda has great potential to become a tennis star. Currently ranked 41, Amanda beat four-time Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka in the third round of the Australian Open to cause a huge upset.

Previously, the American reached the semi-final of Roland-Garros in 2019 to announce herself to the world. She also reached the 4th round of the Australian Open in 2019. If she can stay healthy and work on her game, she will definitely become a Grand Slam winner in the future.
